While we're on the topic friends, this is Jordan. Not only is he a good friend of mine, he's also one of my co-workers. This was shot outside Paupers pub on Bloor St.
Jon's Three Easy Steps for Faking an LCA shot with an Olympus XA:
1. Make sure there's not a lot of light around, slow shutter speeds are key
2. Focus your rangefinder (Yes, the XA has got a real rangefinder) on something in the background (like a sign) instead of your subject
3. Open up that aperature and shoot!
And there ya have it! So why sell your soul to the
Lomographic society, when you can have a
real camera for half the price? And if you still really want Zone focusing, there's always the
XA2...
