I actually shot this at Pacific Mall as well, but it didn't really fit in with the rest of the series. I think I like this shot because of the cut-off composition of the flowers, and not in spite of it. Sure, the flower isn't fully in the frame. Who cares. The background was different behind the leftmost "sprigs", and only served as a distraction anyways. And the warm tones that came out in this shot with Portra 160VC -- very pretty. I think it turned out quite well as a matter of fact.

Or perhaps this shot is really just mediocre. Perhaps I'm just reaching because this was one of only three remotely salvagable shots from two whole rolls of film. Perhaps I'm just desperate to find something beautiful in the crumpled pile of plastic that used to be my negatives.

Perhaps I'm going to find another bloody lab.

... But one that's within walking distance of my apartment and can handle 120 film at all, let alone do it in an hour?

Shit, so much for that idea. Sigh.
