This week's
Theme Thursday theme is really pissing me off. The theme this week is "
connected". Now, there's nothing wrong with the theme itself per se -- but somehow it triggered a freaky chemical reaction in my brain, and now I've got a bloody song stuck in my head.
Yes, the soundtrack to my life has changed, and it's a nightmare. Everywhere I go, a popular dance hit from
twelve years ago shadows my every move. I'm refering of course to
Stereo MC's (just a warning, they're site is rather popup happy) 1992 hit "
Connected".
If you make sure you're connected,
the writing's on the wall
But if your mind's neglected,
stumble you might fall
Yes, the writing's on the wall all right. And for me, it spells t-o-r-t-u-r-e.
Anyhow, I took a whole bunch of shots around my work, mostly of ethernet ports and cables, but I ended up settling on the rope connecting the window cleaner's platform to the construction scaffolding in front of my work.
Wow, my first rope photo. I feel so special. Such a broad theme, and all I can come up with is a shot of some stinkin' rope. Although as rope photos go, it's not too bad I suppose. I think I'm just bitter because of my
earworm infection.
