So much for a nice, relaxing weekend. I'm sick -- sore throat, clogged head, everywhere hurts. I even missed out on an invite to go shooting, which sucks. Sorry
Rannie! Stuck inside as I was, I took the opportunity to go through the site and do a bit of tweaking. As well as a few minor design "enhancements", I also did a bit of a code cleanup and managed to get everything certified as
valid XHTML. I didn't realize just how badly some of my pages rendered in different browsers before. Oh well, it's fixed now at least. Everything now looks consistent regardless of whether you use IE, Opera, or Firebird. I think next I might work on getting rid of tables. Maybe.
Anyhow, being sick I haven't had much of a chance to take any photographs -- so for this week's Photo Friday entry I'm going to use this shot I took on, well Friday. It was one of my first attempts for the theme, and feeling the way I do right now it's going to have to be the final. On the bright side though, this week's theme has turned out to be totally opposite of what I expected:
"A broad theme, I think it has the potential to inspire some amazing shots. But at the same time it also opens up the possibility for a challenge full of cliché. I haven't had a chance to check out any of the entries yet, but I get the feeling this week we're going to see a lot of accidental exposure and camera shake being passed off as abstraction."
That was me a
couple of days ago upon first hearing of this week's Photo Friday theme. Now I've had the chance to check out a few of the entries, and I'm more than happy to eat crow and admit I was wrong.
Just check out some of these awesome shots for this week's theme.
Oh ya, can you guess what the photo is of?
