Another night shot taken shortly after my trip with Rannie to do some night shooting on Yonge street. This is Rosedale Valley Road -- shot from the foot-bridge that runs above it. Two second exposure, hand steadied on the bridge railing.

We headed on over to the corktown district today and did some more shooting -- I had planned to use my "new" Maxxum 9000, but it got bumped or something in my bag and the film advance lever got loosened and was hanging off the camera. Wonderful. I was worried that it wasn't just loose and maybe a piece got lost. Since they don't make parts for it any more, that would be a disaster. Wonderful. Luckily, as we were already in the area we passed by Vistek and I checked out their repair department. The repair guy quoted me $100 and 2 weeks to fix it. Wonderful. My "sweet deal eBay replacement body" was suddenly getting a lot more expensive. Screw that noise, I figured I'd look at it myself when I got home instead. I've got the auto-winder for it, so I could survive with having that attached all the time, even if it does increase the bulk/noise factor. Wonderful.

So when I got home I just grabbed a screw driver and popped off the cover on the lever and tightened the screw. Works like a charm now. Wonderful! ;)
