An old car in a factory parking lot, Corktown district. There's something about soft-focus and
old cars that I just can't resist.
Sorry for the lack of posts the past couple of days, I've been a bit distracted with revamping the site. After cleaning up the code for the old layout to get it to validate, I figured I'd take things one step further and totally redo the design. I wanted to accomplish a couple of things -- create more room for larger photos, and move to a tableless layout.
Brining the photos themselves more to the forefront was the biggest priority -- this is a photoblog after all! Getting rid of the tables was more of just a learning exercise for myself, although controlling everything now through CSS does have some distinct advantages. And overall, things looks pretty consistent in the latest versions of IE, Firebird, and Opera.
So now that's out of the way, I can finally start concentrating again on the whole reason I'm doing this -- to take more photographs.
