Anyhow, this week's
PhotoTime Tuesday theme is "Transportation". Well, you can't get much more basic than your feet. ;) The power line those shoes are hanging from is actually pretty high up -- it would take quite the throw to get them up there like that. I wonder if those shoes were just old and unloved, or if some poor kid fell victim to a rather nasty prank.
I shot this with my Maxxum 9000 on Agfa Optima 400, spot metered for highlights on the shoes at F3.5, 200mm lens. Some times grain can really add to the feel of a shot, but in this case it was a bit distracting. So I used a touch of gaussian blur to smooth out the grain in the sky.
