Went to visit my mum at the hospital today, and what an amazing difference from when we were here last time. It's hard to believe that just over a week ago she was still on a ventilator. Her mental clarity is quickly returning, which is a big relief. She got a wee case of what they call "
ICU Syndrome" after coming off the ventilator. So now, she's just got to concentrate on getting strong enough over the next couple of weeks for the surgery. Fingers crossed.
