Practice makes perfect.
So Minolta is finally releasing the
Maxxum 7D in just
two more days. I've been waiting so long for this, and now that it's here I'm feeling somewhat let down. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful camera -- but at
$2500 just for the body that pretty much prices me right out of the market. For the same price I could (as an example) get a Nikon D70, a decent prime and a nice telephoto zoom and still have some cash left over for a big CF card and a meal at
Terroni. I really wanted to take advantage of my Minolta glass when moving to a DSLR, but at that price there's not much point from my perspective.
*sigh*Any kind Konica-Minolta folks out there looking to sponsor a photoblog? ;) One can always dream I guess...
