So I got a "bugdet" Carbon Fiber tripod and ballhead the other week from an outfit called Photo Technology, and I took it out this weekend with my Super Speed Graphic for a field test. Early impressions are quite good. While the fit and finish may not be up to Gitzo standards, it held up my Super Speed with ease and was steady enough that I felt confident between setting up the shot on the ground glass and inserting the grafmatic film holder. I'll probably post my full impressions when I get the chance, but it's definately worth looking in to as an option for those on a budget.
