Some outtakes from the Photo Friday Macro Challenge...  

The remainder of the images I shot for the Photo Friday "clean" challenge. This was my first experiment with doing some high-speed captures with flash. And no, I don't normally shower with my camera. ;)  

A photographic study of an abandoned machine I came across in the Yonge and Charles area. I'm not quite sure what it is, if someone can enlighten me, feel free to do so.  

A couple of weeks ago, Rannie and I headed on over to Toronto's Greek District to take some night shots. These are the remainder of the shots from that trip.  

I didn't take very many photos at Joey's recent GTA Bloggers groundhog day party -- I got a bit distracted by all of the tasty food. I've also come to the realization that I'm not very good with the rangefinder while "under the influence", so to speak. Nevertheless, I did manage to fire off a few shots, and here they are. There's a cool new photography challenge out there called Pixos. Here's the scoop:

"Every week, a new pixo calls on photo enthusiasts to take pictures simultaneously around the globe - pictures of a particular situation, a theme, a common-day event, with the emphasis on each photographer's country and location. "

Cool concept -- take a situation, and get a global perspective. One really cool thing about this challenge is the ability to submit multiple photographs to document the theme.

This week's challenge is "Glass in...". This gallery contains my submissions for this week's theme. It appears entries are all reviewed manually before being approved, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these are up to snuff.  

These are a few of the less-successful attempts from this week's Theme Thursday challenge "Repeating Patterns".  

This is my first gallery. It's more of a test gallery actually, because the photos are all duplicated in the "Boneyard" series of shots on the main blog. But I've been itching to finally test this all out and make sure it works. Pretty cool eh?
